Sosowski took the reins for us in this demo, showing us exactly how not to save the world in this equally comedic sequel, proving that the McPixel formula is still just as potent ten years on from the original. Now, everyone's favourite bomb disposal expert is back in McPixel 3 (solo developer Sos Sosowski prefers we never mention the likes of McPixel 2), which we got to see in action over at the Devolver booth at PAX East 2022. In the era of prohibitively expensive graphics cards, you may be confident you will be able to run McPixel 3 just fine because it is entirely software-rendered.The first McPixel was one of those point and click adventures that was just so wholesomely silly that it won you over with its mix of daft humour and bonkers, quickfire 'save the day' scenarios.Finding Steve will take you to the Steve level since he can appear in the strangest and most unlikely places. Sometimes, Steve will be located by you while on your journeys.Additionally, you’ll be able to dress up in some of the outfits you discovered while playing. As you play, people and objects from the levels you’ve already explored will start to inhabit the city.

Learn more about the city and its adventures! You’ll need to pay coins to proceed and reach new levels on some of the city’s obstructed paths. Everyone also enjoys coins, right? They swirl and are golden and sparkling. And you’ll get paid in coins for each solution! To win the gold award and a few extra coins, find every solution in a level.

In the mind-blowing save-the-day adventure McPixel 3, the titular would-be hero uses wild yet entertaining mayhem to avert one catastrophe after another at every step.
